WHAT IS SUBS IN SCHOOLS?

The SUBS in SCHOOLS competition is a high level STEM project, where students are given the opportunity to learn about complex engineering and technological systems and work towards building a submarine to compete in this competition. It also explores and develops students' understanding and skills in team managing, graphic design and marketing. The SUBS in SCHOOLS competition is organized annually by the Re-engineering Australia Foundation (REA) and is the result of collaboration between REA, the Department of Defence and industry stakeholders including the Australian Submarine Corporation (ASC) and SAAB Australia.
